One sunny day during lockdown, my sister and I went for a walk 10 minutes from my home here in Delgany. We hopped a fence into a field and looked to our right beyond the overgrown ditch and there it was! This delicious hilly field full of poppies in bloom which has now been eternalised on canvas. I hope I have managed in some small way to capture the sheer joy of the moment.
